Oxbow Essentials Adult Rabbit Food

Oxbow Essentials Adult Rabbit Food is a carefully balanced daily diet designed to support the health and wellbeing of mature rabbits. Made with high-fibre Oxbow Western Timothy hay as the first ingredient, it provides the fibre rabbits need for healthy digestion and a well-functioning gut.

This nutritious pellet food contains essential vitamins and minerals, plus antioxidants and prebiotics to support whole-body health. It contains no artificial preservatives, colours or flavours, making it a wholesome choice for adult rabbits. The formula is developed with guidance from veterinarians and animal nutrition experts.

For rabbits over one year old, daily feeding amounts depend on body weight, ranging from 1/8 cup for smaller rabbits to 3/4 cup for rabbits over 4.53kg. Always provide unlimited fresh grass hay alongside their pellets.

When changing foods, transition gradually over four weeks, slowly increasing the amount of Oxbow Essentials while reducing the previous food. This helps minimise the risk of digestive upset.
