What's the best food to be feeding your bird? Most vet's agree that a complete high quality pellet diet is critical to the health and well being of your bird. Roudybush is exactly that! It is a complete "natural" diet (meaning that it has no nasty additives like dyes etc).

As with all animal husbandry though - variety and enrichment are key. This should form the basis of your bird's diet but it is always good to change things up by adding healthy treats, species specific fresh fruits and veg etc.

So which size pellet do you pick? Let's face it - there are no pellet trees in nature to give us a guideline but a general rule of thumb is that you fit the beak to the pellet size. Most of all though - be led by your bird.  Sometimes the big guys just like to chew the smaller pellets!

Parrots such as the Large Macaws and Large Cockatoos usually prefer MEDIUM pellets.
