Rabbits are foraging herbivores. This means that they like to wander around finding grass, hay and other tasty nibbly bits to eat. Did you know though that rabbits also need to eat nightly cecotropes (that is a different type of poop usually done at night) in order to digest their food properly? So always best to have a flat portion of floor in their cage so they have access to their nightly droppings if they need to eat them.
As with all animals - variety is key and never say "nay" to hay! Rabbits must have hay in order for their digestive system to work properly. So hay, nuggets (like these), healthy snacks, fresh healthy greens and fresh water are all vital to keep your bunny on the hop!
This 2kg bag is suitable for rabbits from 16 weeks old to around 5 years old. Please remember to consult your vet before deciding on a diet for your pet rabbit.
