A Chinchilla in africa is bound to find life a little toasty in summer - so here is a very clever way to minimise stress on your Chin and improve his life greatly over summer...

This granite slab is 25cm long, 15cm wide and about 1cm thick.

The idea is to put it in the fridge to cool it down and then put it out in your Chin's habitat to cool him/her down on a hot day/night!

Sometimes the simplest solutions are the very best!
